In 1981 I had a 4yr old son who had an accident and passed away. 5 months later my 7 month old son passed away on Christmas eve. I was so Greatful I had baptized all my boys.

I know this video is a year old, but Catholic here and I was baptized as a baby when I was just 4 months old. I then went on to receive my first communion when I was in 3rd grade. Now I recently graduated high school and I’m older (18 years old) I have decided . Tomorrow is my confirmation day so tomorrow night I will get confirmed in the faith and receive the Holy Spirit in a special way . The gifts of the Holy Spirit and also become a fully initiated Catholic. That’s why we have Confirmation for when we are much older so we can decide and accept Jesus as we move forward. Ultimately I still accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and after tomorrow I’ll be a confirmed Catholic

My parents baptized me in a car when I was 10 day old because they didn't think I would live but God is awesome and gracious he let me live he saved me not only spiritually but physically also, because of my baptism.

If your heart is sizzling for Christ & you have absolutely no doubt about the truthfulness of Christianity, then you would want your entire family be included in the Faith, even your babies, simple as that ! I was a Moslem at the time but absolutely loved to see my babies getting baptized in the Catholic Church some 30 years ago.

We do not have to wait until they have understood God in order to be baptized. God's grace and power unknowingly will care for them more.
