The lock-on pistol is great for easy damage and tracking enemies, but it's not as easy to use as it seems. It's like the smart pistol from Titanfall, powerful but takes skill to master.

I also believe, in a season full of crazy mobility, that lock on effect to do an easy 100 damage is extremely helpful in beaming people rotating with either a Shockwave, Grapple Blade, or the TMNT mythics. The Lock-On Pistol seems like a weapon that requires no skill at first glance, but happens to be one of the more skill-demanding weapons out there.

For me I like using it early game or when someone is gliding in on me to get some early damage.
