My instructor had me doing dutch rolls back in 2001. Fond memories. I'm considering purchasing a 1968 C177 with a 180 HP upgrade and constant speed prop. I love the Cardinals.

Great video and a lovely airplane Keith! If I can be a stickler for aerodynamics though, please allow me to humbly assert that what you are demonstrating is not dutch roll. (Roll coupling) There is probably no official term for it, it's just a roll coordination exercise. Nicely flown, though - thanks for sharing that.

Hey Keith, stumbled on your video and I figured you’re probably the best person to ask this nagging question I have. What’s the best hit start technique? I’ve got a friend with a 177 RG and restarting after a shutdown is painful.

I’ve seen some videos on starting fuel injected airplanes but I’d like to know what you do.

Thanks and by the way, your airplane is one of the cleanest 177 I’ve ever seen... from paint to panel.

Hello, firstly thanks for that video. As far as i know, swept wing causes dutch roll. So therr is no swept wing on Cessna.
