You need to get the pan super hot to get a good crust. If you aren't setting your smoke alarm off, you aren't doing anything

Don’t be afraid of developing a crust. Get the pan ripping hot and let it sit for a minute or 2 on each side so your steak doesn’t look so sad and grey.

Best served medium I think. It’s so that the fat can melt properly. I’m normally a medium rare guy but with these I cook through more.

Can you try this combinations
Toast Place the butter and smooth it and add honey
(Another combination)
And get garlic bread crunchy without any slice on it and add potato gems on it
(Cook it your way)

Ate A5 once, and it’s for sure a fantastic experience, but I almost think it gives an appreciation for a good steak as a whole. It’s so rich, that it truthfully hurts your stomach after a few ounces. Is it the best tasting steak you’ll ever try? Absolutely. But, after eating it, you will appreciate how good a nice ribeye is as well, because it’s something that you can eat the entire thing and not break the bank. I think A5 is best for like a get together with a few friends.

guys for what it is, it's overcooked. it needs a hot sear and that's it. a whole different beast to regular beef.

It's actually better to be cooked to almost medium because it's already insanely tender and won't firm up but cooking to a higher temp will get you way more melty fat

Forgot forgot to render the piece of fat at the end and didn’t get pan hot enough to only sear 1 min each side. Heat your pan for about 3 min on medium

Ik y'all people gonna say "go home sheikh no one cares", but I just need to put it out there. Not all scholars would classify japanese a5 wagyu as halal. Regardless of how it was slaughtered, the cow itself is fed sake, which is a Japanese alcohol, which might make it haram to consume. Some scholars go by the idea that it doesn't cause intoxication, and therefore it isn't haram, but when Allah forbids something, we have to just go with it, not put a reason for it being haram. The idea is, it is haram therefore I don't do it, not it is harmful therefore it is haram therefore I don't do it. Just had to make you watch out for that. And Allah knows best

Everyone compares it to butter, .but I diss agree. If you eat butter you'll feel gross. There is nothing gross about waygu. It's so damn clean and liquidy you can't really compare it something else
