I’ll just keep taking advantage of Brookshires occasional NY Strip, Porterhouse and Ribeye sales at $5.99/lb. I always have them cut me 30-40lbs of steaks at 2” thick.

As someone who’s eaten and worked with A5, it’s definitely extremely good beef, but not my favorite. It’s important to know that while A5 is undoubtedly the best marbled, the opinion that it tastes and feels better to eat than any other variety of beef isn’t ubiquitous
