Does the 4.4 amp setting determine the RATE or speed of charge per xyz amount of time (per hour for example), or does it determine how many milliamps total it will push out in one session?

what if you have a rig for making the 2 3S batteries is detected by the charger like an 6S Lipo? in this way the charger can check the balance of the battery by monitoring each individual cell .

What does the 2nd number mean for the c rating on a lipo? Ie: 45-90c, what does the 90 mean? I understand the 45.

Do the batteries have to be identical, or could they be different capacities and C ratings? (i.e. a 3000mAh 30C and a 3300mAh 40C) Thanks!

Gotta be super careful when plugging in the balance leads. I was doing this in a dark room and it turns out that the little keys they have on them arent that great at protecting you from a reverse plug in. Cooked the traces off the parallel board in a split second.

Why charge those batteries in parallel when you have a two channel charger like he is using? It's got to be a lot better and safer to charge them individually with the right charger.

That is wrong. Batteries should be the same and used together. And can be charged like a 6s. No two battery should be charged in parallel.
