10.11+12.91+6.98 does equal to 30 dollars. If they each pay ten dollars then Mike has to add $3.02, his friend has to subtract 11¢, and she has to subtract $2.91 which does equal $3.02. Basically pay what they owe or the two cover Mike so it's an even three-way split. But they also should each leave an additional $3 tip if the service wasn't bad.

We have a rule in my friend group. If you broke don’t come out. If a dollar or two is affecting your pocket don’t come out. If you doing Math on a bill with all your brothers and best friends are there don’t come out. It doesn’t bother the group at all. In fact my friends will be like “I can’t I’m broke” and I’ll say “don’t worry I’m paying.” To argue or feel a type of way that you paid X amount of money for your best friends to eat isn’t a friend of ours and shouldn’t be a friend of yours.
