Returning across the river bar in La Push, WA

Going out, a cinch. Coming back...not fun lads, not fun 'tall. The springtime volume of the Quileute river is blasting thru the 200-foot-wide bar and needless to say, it's not too fun to kayak across. I'm cranking on that drive hard, and you can see by the rocks on the left how little progress I'm making.
