Great video, very informative. Question, I've been looking at different laser engravers, and color engraving is something that i wanted to do. I've been looking at the Monport 40W Pro. I know that different engravers could give varying degrees of good color output, would you know if that would get the same color output, or close to it?

This is awesome, thanks for the video! Great little example as well. I'm looking at getting something to etch or engrave logos onto some small parts, is this the 20W version that you're using? I will mostly be using it for 304 Stainless, about .065- .080 thickness. Thanks!

I tried to use the tool to create the color grid with satisfactory results, but when I put the parameters in the layers of any image, the marking comes out all black without showing the colors, as if the lightburn layers were not communicating well the parameters to the controller. is there any solution?

I'm curious. Are those colour comparable with the ones you get after welding stainless steel or ist there a difference? Because after welding you want to get rid of the coluers to prevent rust and it would be pretty annoying to laser some really cool colours just to let them rust away.

I am thinking of getting a laser. The one I am looking at Is an Galvo Laser JPT M7 MOPA 100W Fiber Laser Machine 300x300mm will this cut and mark wood, Glass, Marble, and other nonmetal materials If I adjust the power, frequency, and other settings? My main thing is that I will be Engraving on gun parts.
