You'll have a much easier time rolling tortillas if you warm them up first. Even a quick 7-10 seconds in the microwave does wonders, but a quick toss in a hot dry pan works just as well. When they're cold, tortillas are much more stiff, as well as brittle and prone to breaking.

Eating this for about two months. Making a third batch now. Only swap was switched to taco spices instead of the sausage flavor (which was really good too). Your recipes continue to impress and have a positive impact

In addition to what a previous commenter mentioned about warming the tortillas. Placing them fold side down in a really hot pan helps to seal them, and also give them some crispy brown flavor.

Thanks for the great recipe.
I swapped the turkey out for chicken breast mince, replaced half the eggs with egg whites and used low carb tortillas and got them down to 214cal with 18.5g protein, 8.2g carbs and 9.8g fat.
They are super delicious, quick, and refreshing break from oats and helping to fulfill my protein requirements with whole foods rather than powder.
I’m a tourist in snack city and looking to become a permanent resident.

As an international viewer from eastern Europe the usage of metric and acknowledging the difficulty of finding certain American ingredients has won me over completely.

Made the firecracker beef and brussels, blueberry lemon baked oatmeal and popcorn chicken last Monday and I gotta say these recipes are all phenomenal.

Only thing I would add is grilling the burritos before you freeze them. When I make mine, after I cook and roll the burritos, I then use my panini press and grill them for 1 minute. Really adds to the flavor.

Love that there's plenty of veggies in these! I can see tweaking them easily as the seasons change and using different sorts of beans as well! 😊thanks bunches 👍

Just made these with ground pork and added a drizzle of sriracha. More tasty than a $5 drive through breakfast burrito and insanely convenient for whenever I'm feeling snackish. Thanks!

This is a game changer man. I seriously can’t commend you enough for providing easy and efficient meals to make. I just saved this video last week and made it today (I hardly cook so this is impressive). This stops me from going to Dunkin’ Donuts or starving myself every morning. Please never stop!

Nice, I'm gonna make these for lunch/dinner since I always eat cereal with protein powder in the morning

I've been doing these for months now, I tweaked them a bit to my tastes by using pablano peppers instead of green, added air fried tater tots, told the spinach to play in the road, just use pork sausage because I'm lazy, and wrap them in foil before freezing. Then freezer to air fryer, 385 for 27 minutes while i get my morning workout in. Thanks for giving me the idea, it's really helped keep me on track

These are absolutely fantastic, thank you for making a solid, non-oat, breakfast prep. I'm excited for my next 17 breakfasts

I just made these the other day and I absolutely love them. They are a little heavy on the zip for me though, so I'll be reducing the pepper on the next round.

Most years I have my own vegetable garden, which would have been really nice for this. Unfortunately, that didn't work out this year and I ended up spending over $30 CAD to make these. Seriously, the peppers alone were over $7. The turkey was $8.

I used the 7 inch tortillas and got 26 burritos using a large scoop to portion them equally. So just just over $1 a wrap isn't bad and they are significantly better than what you used to get at McDonald's for that price.

I made these so my kids can have a heartier breakfast that doesn't require any effort from me in the morning. The whole batch will be gone in 2 weeks, but it's worth it.

Thank you!

Feedback time! I made these today for the first time, and also as my first meal prep ever. Here are some stats:

Duration: 2h (limited by 2 busted fingers, especially in the veg cutting and rolling part) from clean and empty countertop to clean and empty countertop.
Result: 18 overfilled Burritos, could've stretched it a bit more.
Recipe changes:
- 600gr ground chicken (only 300gr packages available, and we don't get a lot of turkey over here, plus I like chicken)
- Green, red AND yellow pepper (almost exclusively available as a 3pack)
- No rubbed sage. Can't find that around here, at least not for an acceptable price.
- 200gr spinach. Again, limited by the packaging size.
- 225 gr chopped up frozen French fries as a replacement for hashbrowns, since those definitely don't exist over here. Bit more because I reacted slowly.
- 16 9-ish inch tortillas (2 packs of 8), 2 larger ones. I could've easily stretched the filling to fill 3 packs of 8 tortillas.

Gotta say: So far, so good. Prep was easy, and went by quickly. Nothing worse than a recipe that has you standing around for 30 minutes, this one just keeps you busy so time flies by (except for the cooldown of course). I tasted the filling from time to time, and it's extremely flavorful, I'm very curious to see how the burritos are after reheating. Rolling also worked very good, I only ever rolled tortillas, I never folded them in. This definitely works a lot better and even saves space in the baking tray.

After I've had some, I'll update this comment on the taste, how well the wet towel trick worked (never tried that), and my results on different microwave wattages. 60-75 seconds in the microwave is all well and good, but my microwave has settings from 180W to 1000W, so a minute on either of those gives very different results.

Thanks for providing this recipe, I'm looking forward to trying out more recipes in the future.

EDIT: Second update after eating them for almost 2 weeks.

I've had one or two of these every single day since I wrote this comment, and I'm already shopping for the next batch of ingredients to make them again. I guess that should be an indicator of how good they are.

I also promised an update on how reheating worked for me:
I put mine in a soaking wet paper towel. I'm not sure if it's the difference between American and Dutch paper towels, but a damp one didnt work as well for me. I also put them in for about 4 minutes at 600W, they got frozen at -18C. This way they come out nice and warm, but not too hot.

This is my first meal prep ever, so I don't have much of a reference point, but here's my summary:
- Easy to prep
- Easy to reheat
- Very tasty
9/10

Dude you completely changed my meal prep since I found your channel 2 weeks ago. Great taste, easy to make and very affordable. You help me overcome my food ordering addiction. Thank you so much for all these incredible meal prep videos

Tried this recipe yesterday, used what I could get, so ground chicken thighs, 6 eggs instead of 8 and cooked rice instead of the hash browns. I am sure you can also add beans in the mixture if you need to have it more nutritious. I wrapped it individually in a transparent food cling film. Worked perfectly! Thank you for the recipes, it makes the mornings less shitty. :D
