Growing up I never actually appreciated the work that went into providing food for the team. Thank to everyone out there going the extra mile to support youth sports. Thank you!!!

We used to have a father on our team who would bring his grill out to the games and would grill us up some burgers, sausage, and one tournament He even did a brisket! I respected the hell out of that man. Such a good person tragically his life was ended too soon, But the impact and memories he left with all the kids that he came across his spirit will forever live on.

This brings me back to my youth. My grandpa used to love to do this exact thing for the family when everyone would come stay at his house for the weekend. I have lots of aunts and uncles and tons of cousins... he would make enough to keep everyone full. I can picture him standing in the kitchen cooking constantly for hours, wrapping each individual one, and sending me on my way to deliver. Funny what things can bring back certain memories. Love you grandpa... and miss you more than you can believe.

Can’t believe you didn’t cook the tortillas or toast the burritos once made at least. It makes all the difference in the world and tastes so much better.

Assistant coach “Who we recruiting next?”
Head coach “We’re recruiting this kids dad, he’s a five star burrito maker”
Assistant coach: “perfect👌”

I’d say oil the griddle and toast both sides but looks great regardless

I knew this one dad from my youth team who would step over an extra mile for the team, he would make sure we were all fed during practice and would bring a cooler with cold bottles of Gatorade and water, on top of that if he found out you didn’t have a ride to a game or practice or you were taking the bus or walking to practice he would make sure to find room for everyone in his mini van and take us to practice. There were times that if you couldn’t afford buying any equipment. He would go to the sporting goods store and buy you the equipment you need, thanks for everything you did for us Mark!
