Have you ever thought about putting those hanging plastic strip curtains that go on the inside of the doors commercial walkin coolers? They really helped cut down on the loss of colder air when going in and out of a cooler. I've been thinking on putting them on my walkin when I build it this summer, they cost $70-150 from what I found on Amazon. Like what you're doing, hoping to replicate it here in MI

Hillbilly engineering. Trust a real engineer, the compressor will get liquid refrigerant returning to it thereby causing the bearings to wash-out and prematurely destroying the unit.

If you have a 230v output it might be better to get a small out door ac like the ones they use in big houses.and a double door to enter and walk out with out letting the cold outout.
