You might already know that Elvis died while sitting on the toilet, but do you know why? The combination of drugs, stress and poor eating habits left the star’s body in poor health. The narcotics and stress aren’t very out of the ordinary for such a big celebrity, but Elvis the Pelvis also had some interesting diets over the years.

He didn't weigh anywhere near 350, and he was barely overweight. He looked bigger than he was due to bloating. Look up Elvis Hawaiian Vacation 1977. He looked quite slim and healthy, only time he looked fat was when he was on the road; stressed and using more pills. And a 42k sandwich is impossible. I ate that same kind of sandwich almost everyday for lunch a while back and never gained any weight

Actually Elvis didn't eat peanut butter and banana sandwiches all that much. It was an occasional treat his Cooks made for him. And the sandwich you are describing is called Fool's Gold loaf. It's a sandwich that was sold by the Colorado Gold Mine Company in Colorado. It was a three-foot-long sandwich that he probably only ate twice in his life. And he shared it with other people. Get your facts straight dude before you post a video strictly for views.

Elvis Presley DID NOT weigh 350 pounds!!!
I would say most likely somewhere around
260- 280 on average and maybe 290 on a bad day or month.
Elvis did love food and who doesn't enjoy a good home cooked meal.
The eating habits of Elvis have been greatly exaggerated at times as NO ONE could eat that much all at once.
The MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF PRESCRIPTION PILLS that Elvis took on a daily basis slowed down his body so much it just couldn't digest the food quickly enough.
SLEEP WELL ELVIS AND THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC!!!!

Through his toxicology reports, medical examiners found that he actually had traces of 14 drugs in his system, 10 of which were present in significant quantities. These primary 10 substances include:

Codeine: Codeine is a prescription pain medication that is used to address moderate pain. Today, it’s often found in prescription cough medication.
Morphine: A potent form of opiate, morphine is a highly controlled substance that is both addictive and dangerous when used without supervision.
Methaqualone: Methaqualone is a barbiturate-like sedative and hypnotic medication that is more commonly known by its brand name, Quaalude. This central nervous system depressant was popular for recreational use in the 1970s and 1980s.
Diazepam: Better known as Valium, diazepam is a benzodiazepine commonly used for conditions like anxiety and insomnia.
N-Desmethyldiazepam: More commonly referred to as nordazepam, this benzodiazepine can be used for anxiety, insomnia and seizures. Today, it is a less common choice versus other benzodiazepine forms.
Ethinamate: Another hypnotic and sedative medication, ethinamate is a carbamate derivative that can be highly addictive.
Ethclorvynol: Sold under the name Placidyl, ethclorvynol was a GABA-ergic sedative and hypnotic medication popular in the mid-1990s for treating insomnia. Today, Placidyl is no longer available in the US due to dwindling demand in favor of safer and more effective alternatives but can still be found in other countries.
Pentobarbital: Pentobarbital is a short-acting barbiturate that can cause sedative side effects.
Phenobarbital: A barbiturate similar to pentobarbital, phenobarbital is a short-term drug used to treat anxiety, insomnia and seizures.
Butabarbital: Butabarbital is a barbiturate used to treat insomnia and anxiety disorders.

Elvis stories are an example of how truth becomes distorted over time. Fool's Gold, the french loaf bread (baguette) with bacon, jelly and peanut butter was not fried as wrongly stated in this video. Whereas the banana and peanut butter sliced bread sandwich was toasted and fried in butter. And apparently both are very nice, and not as calorific as quoted in this video. He weighed under 240 pounds at time of death and not the exaggerated figure mentioned here.

Pretty sure deep frying Elvis himself won't even get you to 42, 000 calories.

Elvis had many health issues, including a congenital bowel condition that affected him more later in his life.
Elvis's eating habits have been grossly exaggerated over the years. The 'Fools Gold Sandwich' was created for him by a chef fan when he visited a restaurant in Denver. He only ate it once and didn't eat it all. The only other time, he collected some was for his daughter's birthday party
Elvis never weighed 350lbs, his heaviest weight was reported as approx 240lbs.

Plus the fact that he ate multiple cheeseburgers daily, while being chronic constipated this went on, for 4 months (he became constipated in april 1977), imagine having 30 pound's of feces in your body, and still eating 10.000-12.000 calories daily, AND taking alot of pills, his heart was on so much pressure
