Exactly thing happened to me. A guy who was pursuing me stopped all communication with me when I told him that I want him to leave me alone for a little bit, coz he hurted me with some of his behaviour. And he disappeared. We haven't heared each other for 19 days from then. I feel very bad, and I feel guilty about it, but don't want to contact him first. ☹

I think it depends on the guys level of interest! I have said this and even worse but not out of a game but out of what I truly felt at the moment. The men who had a high level of interest kept insisting and pursuing and the guys who had a low level of interest ghosted but almost always come back! I personally think a lot of men are weak today and will feel their ego bruised so they will prefer to crawl under a rock than to put their heart on the line and show their true level of interest, when you say you need space it’s also saying you’re not sure about him- strangely men don’t want certainty but for some too much uncertainty makes them feel unwanted… relationships is such a balancing act!
