Every time I've told a guy I liked him, he acted cool with it for like a week and then the next thing I know, they're avoiding me like the plague. Fuck it, I'm just staying to myself from now on

I told a guy I liked him. He basically said he wasn't sure how to respond to that and then repeatedly praised me for my courage. I had to pry it out of him that he had a girlfriend and he told me "there wasn't much he could do about it." Now we will text back and forth about deep subjects like politics. Life is weird...

I confessed my feelings for him. He said he is not trying to be in relationship but he just to be friend and chill. However theweird part is that he said hit him up if I wanted to hangout with you and also said he is totally cool with it? What does it mean? I am so confused!!!!

I told him I like him a lot and he answered in a weird way «  well first thank you haha and yeah I like you a lot anyway 😇😇 » but to be sure I asked him in which way and he first said « uhm ? I like you a lot like I like you a lot, I don’t understand your question » ( in French it is aimer dans le sens aimer, because aimer can be friendly or in a love way ) so I asked again because I thought Maybe he didn’t understand that I liked him more than just in a friendly way and he said « More like a friend because we don’t see each other a lot » so I told him that I tried but he can’t when i can and i can’t when he can . And he replied by « I want to see you too but it’s a little complicated » (he has no girlfriend or anything) . So what should I think about that ? Because now that I’ve told him he replies faster ( like 20 seconds ) and keep the conversation going like when I say - ah cool ok- and the conversation ends he keep replying like -cool yeah- but he didn’t do that before . Oh and he is a little bit shy if that can help 🤷🏻‍♀️

Can someone help me with this ive known this girl for a good time but never talked to her, but ive been working with her dad for a good while and when we can back from summer vacation I've noticed that she keeps staring at me and always smiles when we come through the same paths bit idk if it's a sign that's her dad told her good things about me or she just trying to be friends and also will it be weird if things did happen ????
