The problems are if Nuclear War breaks out, radiation most likely would reach switzerland, and also Iceland is in NATO so it would be dragged into war and used for military purposes, New Zealand is probably your best bet or Costa Rica

Iceland is very strategic territory. Definitely would be a battleground if ww3 kicked off

Switzerland is in the heart of Europe, you're at risk of getting affected by crossfire.

Iceland is not only could be used as a strategic point when it comes to a standoff between the US and Russia, but also Iceland is a part of NATO. So Iceland wouldn't be all that safe either. Whichever country controls it controls the Atlantic Ocean.

New Zealand has hostile relations with China and North Korea. Australia would most likely get affected by war, and if China dominates the Asian and Oceania continent, China would likely take on New Zealand as well just to ensure the US has no more voice in the region. So New Zealand is not all that safe as your saying either.

Costa Rica borders Nicaragua. Nicaragua has slightly hostile relations with the US, and has hosted Russian-Chinese-Iranian troops for military exercises inside of their country before. Costa Rica might be a little safe but not entirely safe.

Your best bet is probably Fiji. Or maybe just go make friends with the Penguins in Antarctica.
