I just did my snow tires swap today and I suggest you lower the tires just half inch after touch the ground then torque the lug nuts with star pattern, then you can drop the car. Not torque when you put whole weight to the tires, you hand tight the nuts are too loss, I can see the centre bore off from the rim. same thing when you break the torque, lift the car up, take off the weight from tires but tires still touch the ground.

When you have the tire off it would be a great time to check your brake pads. And the wheel nuts should be retorted at 100kms.

What do you do when the car uses TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system)? Can I just install a winter set of wheels/tires without it (and just ignore the TPMS warning light for the few months)?
