Pokemon Red vs Gold FULL FIGHT

Pokemon Red vs Gold fan animation. Continuation of the teaser from 2013. This is about the original Gold Silver and Crystal version, not the Heart Gold/Soul Silver remake. So, Red had an Espeon, the battle was in a cave and all that stuff from the classic game from 1999.

This is a fanvideo I've made about the most memorable pokemon battle (for me =P). I've started this in 2013, because I always wanted to see it beyond the GSC graphics and the turn battle of the games.
Now and study/work is being my life for now, so I didn't have much time to do it as main activity, (and sharing the time to do animations of stories that I am creating for my career) but i've managed to finish this video because of the AWESOME feedback you all have given to me in the first part of this video, even my channel being unkown and very tiny. YOu know, looking back on this iconic fight and remembering how Red's mom mentions she hasn't seen her son in a few years... It makes me wonder if Ethan/Gold (or Kris or Lyra if you play as the female) only went to Mt. Silver to find Red to bring him home. And like if our character tried to convince Red go home to his mom but he refused so we end up battling him to try and make him?

As a 23 year old college student who grew up playing Red, and having a Charizard as his stater, that moment when Red looked down at Charizard and just stared at him like “I know you can do better”, and then the flashbacks? How many moments did I, and anyone else who had charmander as a starter, have to rely on a Charizard to finish a battle like that? Just an instant nostalgia trip for me, maybe it’s just me lol.

I absolutely LOVE how the battle is inconclusive in the end. It's way stronger of an ending than for either of them to be victorious.

I wish we would have received an animation in generations like this. The ending was actually satisfying. Neither of them actually won, but it made Red come back to his senses and want to test his skills in the PWT.

Rewatching in preparation for the finale of the Gold series. Pedro has surely gone far with his animations. I nearly never comment but glad to be watching since before even the Red series began.

Man, looking back at this, and looking at the finale to Red's story, I can't begin to imagine how awesome this fight will look when the time comes.
