I love how when you're red you're just having a normal play through but when you're someone else seeing Red he's just this silent guy who you're afraid of.

I think the reason red is such a menace to everyone is because he’s the first character everyone played with, so when we see red we see ourselves and how much of a strong trainer we made him when playing as him.

Red probably looks the same in B2W2 because he's a late bloomer. He's like 17, but looks 14. He doesn't really grow until he turns 21 in Sun and Moon.

I miss Red. Remembering my childhood in Gen 1, he is certainly the legend when it comes to ALL characters in the entire series, especially protagonists. Seeing him as the real final boss in Gen 2 was indeed a shock. But now, he rarely ever shows up. Kinda funny that in Let's Go, the male protagonist in it is basically his successor re-living his Yellow story.

You forgot that in Kalos a lot of the NPCs made remarks about Blue learning their dialect but also going "Smell ya later" every time he left.

I always struggle to think of Red officially choosing bulbasaur and Blue choosing charmander. This may be because I always pick charmander at every opportunity but also I associate Blue so heavily with Blastoise mainly because of Gary
