This is a MUST DO during Bicep Curls!

Use code "MAXE" at checkout for 50% off!
Alright fellas quick tip on your bicep curls, regardless of if you’re doing them seated, standing, with dumbbells, a barbell, or whatever it is, you always want to fully extend your arm at the bottom of every single rep. It’s gonna be very tempting to stop shy of that full lockout, as it'll make the exercise significantly easier, but trust me it is much better and even safer for your biceps. Why? Well we’ve all seen the infamous bicep tear video during those preacher curls, and the reason that happened was because a. He was using too much weight, and b. His biceps were not as strong in the fully stretched position, where the bicep tear inevitably occurred. Pair those 2 together, and you’ve got your biceps in a weak position with too much weight, causing them to snap like Thanos. So to prevent this, you want to intentionally extend your arms like I’m doing here, making sure that your bicep is getting fully stretched by flexing your tricep at the end. This will 1 force you into using a weight you can handle, otherwise you will simply not be able to do it, and 2, strengthen your biceps at that end range of motion preventing a future muscle tear from happening. Pair these 2 together, a weight you can handle, and strong biceps, equals safe training. Also, heads up, code MAXE is 50% off myprotein for the rest of the month, lots of new clothes and protein flavors available, so if you’re looking for something new, now is the time.

About Me: I started lifting at 17 years old in 2019, the summer before I entered my freshman year of college. I was a mere 120 pounds at 5'8, and my only goal was to gain weight. Since then I've bulked 5 times, reaching my heaviest at 206 pounds, and cut 4 times to a lowest of around 10% bodyfat. In 2025 I plan to compete in my first natural bodubuilding show. Using the knowledge I have acquired and continue to learn, my goal is to help all of you achieve your fitness goals and prove that no matter what stands in your way, hard work and consistency will always prevail!
