Loved this guest. Perhaps the most insight I've heard on this podcast. More of this please. I hope he's a recurring guest.

Tbh, Leclerc left too much space for him on the inside. If we see Oscar's defense once he was ahead of Charles, he would simply cover the inside line to turn one and Charles had no chance of overtaking him. If we see the replay, Leclerc did not close the gap one bit to keep Oscar behind. Not sure why he left so much space. But brilliant drive from Oscar once he took the lead, it was incredible to watch.

Max has lost 1 race in Mexico since 2017 btw I really doubt checo will even get close to him around that track.

Just watch… McLaren will make Oscar move over and Lando will put it in the bin… interesting how nobody’s talking about how McLaren has already favoured Lando this year…. He gets the upgrades first…Oscar gets screwed with strategy while in the lead… etc

Firstly. Cameron thank you very much for orchestrating this beautiful exchange, these are the conversations that speaks to my F1 soul. I was so captivated it enabled me to complete a 45 minutes scenic ride on my peloton at 80 c/ 55r, never felt the burn until it was over. Big thanks to Martin as well. Looking towards the next episode.

Oscar is fortunate to have such a great manager that can coach and mentor him. Max and Carlos also have a similar setup through their dads. I have noticed that Oscar builds up to qualifying and races with his free practices. Oscar hardly ever crashes in free practices and he gradually gets quicker and quicker over the weekend.

'To save a dying puppy' 😅😂I love Cameron's expressions 😄

The fact is, Oscar is a generational driver. If McLaren lose him through mismanagement, as Alpine did, they will lose him to one of their arch enemies. I don't think they want to do that.

Interesting note on the current quickest drivers I’d probably agree. Both at their best / in their prime I’d still put Verstappen and Hamilton ahead of anyone on the grid though by some margin
