The Duplo are quite a recent addition to UK shelves. They are more common in Mainland Europe, like in Germany, I grew up on Ferrero Chocolate 😋

I really love seeing people introduce snacks or traditional dishes I’ve known for my whole life to themselves because I feel proud because we usually get a positive reaction, it makes me so happy

Omg!! I’m so envious of all of those sweets and snacks!!! I was born and raised in the UK and nothing compares (IMO) to English junk food!! I live in Florida now and luckily found a little British shop near me that has a lot of the delicious things I grew up with. I go every few months to stock up :). Much ❤️💙💜🖤

Sainsburys and M&S are some of the most expensive shops. Next time you go shopping in the uk, you should probably visit a Tescos, Morrisons or Lidl.

ITS A PILIPINO CULTUEE CALLED "PASALUBONG" OR GIVING ITEMS OR FOOD BACK FROM YOUR SHOPPING OR TRAVEL, ETC. IT'S A FAMILY ORIENTED CULTURE THAT SHOWS LOVE FOR YOUR FAMILY OR FRIENDS.

Once me and my family got lots of snacks from Japan and because there were so many of the snacks the security people looked shocked but luckily they approved all of them.

So fun to see people in a city near me experiencing it for a first time and it's nice to see you are enjoying the souvenirs

So true I always need empty space in my suitcase when I travel somewhere bc I know very well when flying back that space will be filled to the brim with food and other souvenirs (especially food)!

I remember buying tons of cadbury bars as gifts for my family and friends in the philippines when hubby and I took a vacation in New Zealand. Our luggage was soooo heavy coz of those chocolates. That's just the Filipino culture. "Pasalubong" is a must whenever one goes back from travel whether local or foreign.

I would pick snacks that are not found in the States. The difference for most chocolates are they are not too sweet, but are creamy. I would definitely bring some biscuits from Mark and Spencer's, Toffee candies and old fashioned British sweets, Cadbury double decker bars, lion bar, crisps and other unique snacks or marmalades.

I love walkers prawn crisps. I also fell in love with green apple tango and brought some back to NYC when I left England in 2010.

Those lion bars are good. I’d always get them in Lebanon.
