It's so weird how the actors are calling themselves by their actual names. Like Ariel and Sarah Hyland (Who play Alex Winter and Haley respectively) call Ty Burrell by his actual name instead of "Dad" or Phil. I'm just so used to having them call each other by their show names.

For those who don't know...the first joke about, "I know it's not a table read because all of you showed up!" is a reference to the cast of 6 adults all banding together (like they did on Friends) to get a big pay increase and all make the same pay rate after the show was a hit. To make the point that they were unified, they all called in "sick" to a new episode table read and the show had to shut down for a week until they all got new big pay hikes and came back to work. 🤣
