If you watched the 1st Dune movie .. The way the Baron had lustful eyes towards Fayed in that version said a lot, knowing this the kiss wasn't a stretch.

The improvised kiss in the movie was more of an act of superiority.

There's one small, omitted detail that I think is kind of important here, and that's that this wasn't a random kiss that Stellan Skarsgard was totally unprepared for; Skarsgard had kissed Butler a second before and Butler kissed him back. The full scene is Baron Harkonnen kissing Feyd Rautha on the mouth to send him on his way, and then Butler grabs him by his face and kisses him again. If it had been a random kiss without any sort of warning then yeah, that is potentially very uncomfortable and I'd understand the criticism, but I think giving someone a second kiss seconds after they've kissed you is a horse of a different color.
