There's really no reason other than the current supply/demand imbalance that the model 3&Y couldn't be more "affordable". Just in terms of vehicle content and manufacturing margins, by all rights the 3&Y should be priced at Camry/Accord levels. Supply will need to catch up to demand before that happens. Austin & Berlin are ramping up and Fremont is improving as well so it's just a matter of time.

@The Tesla Space 8:06 "14 of its Raptor Engines for a full duration static fire". 10 seconds is more like a 5% duration test. 3 minutes 30 seconds is typical full duration for a SpaceX stage 1. Also suspect that Raptor 2 Sea-Level will have 250Tf but probably be throttled back to 238Tf for launch, then throttled back even further to limit G force as fuel load depletes, similar to Falcon 9. 250Tf will probably be reserved for mission rescue in event of 2 engine out during first 90 seconds of flight.

It's actually the B20 and not the G20, it's the business side of G20. It's the Business leaders having a pow wow, rather than the Global leaders having a pow wow.

Although CCS may be Global, unfortunately the CCS-1 used in NA. It is not compatible with the CCS-2 that is being used in Europe.

The raptor engines didn't just kick up dust -- they were pulverizing the concrete on the pad. SpaceX is going to have to harden the pad.

Speaking of India, their tariffs and regulations prevent Tesla from operating there. The crowded and narrow roads in South Asia aren't very well-suited for vehicles that have autopilot either. Latin America and Turkey are much better prospective markets, and Tesla launched indirectly in Turkey in 2018 and directly in early 2022.

In my opinion, they should just use ccs as the standard charger worldwide, not only would it be easier for manufacturers but ccs also charges faster than teslas chargers and if its something we need its fast of charging, right now its fine, but most dont want to wait for the car to charge on long road trips.
