When you look at the current rent prices in Pattaya, I cannot see the point in buying, certainly not as an investment.
You should really ask if they have them for sale, the price and also what the monthly service charge would be.
The service charge on that one bedroom 6, 000 baht condo would probably be 1, 100 baht a month. The landlord would in effect only be getting 4, 900 baht net rent and then he will have costs of decorating and replacing appliances when they get worn out.
Even at those super cheap prices, tehre will be plenty of vacant property because there is an over supply.

I love that one bedroom, you could get that for 3 months, use it as your home base and travel around SEA a week here and a week there and have a place to go back to and keep all your stuff, really nice, keep up the great videos EP :-)

Another interesting vid and good find Dazz.
It appears there is some desperation by owners to get some rental income.
The 6, 000 a mth is struggling to cover the depreciation or damage.
Interesting times.
