Shenron's inconsistencies need to be studied.

He turns his creator into a child regardless of consent. The dragons are only as strong as their creator yet despite being far weaker, he physically changes Goku and Vegeta without consent, reducing their power in the process yet he couldn't do something as simple as transport Goku because Goku "didn't want to"

He only grants one wish instead of three because "I don't know you" who decided that?

What I want to know is why Neva's magic worked on earth's dragonballs when they are linked to Dende. Furthermore, why did Shenron work on him against his will.

Neva's clearly not being forced to take the life force of other demons since Gomah straight up says that he will increase his lifespan another thousand years if he activates the Dragon Balls as a bribe. So he most likely knows and doesn't care where it comes from

I Think it's possible for a Namekian to live for 10, 000's of years, it's mentioned in Dragonball that everytime King Piccolo lays an egg it speeds up his aging process. Guru laid about 99 eggs on Namek and died of old age, while king piccolo laid multiple eggs, the Demon clan eggs during Goku's time were new, you'd see in flashbacks in the king piccolo saga that there were just as many namekians 300 years before Goku's time (Hence Guru and King Piccolo are old in their first couple hundred years of life). It's not stated that the Namekian's in universe 7 are descended from neva or not, so neva could have lived longer due to not laying any eggs.

So, you kinda forgot Neva was established by piccolo to be a namekian deliberately stayed behind in the demon realm while the others left. I assume since he was the original creator of these demon dragon balls, and note, the namekians back them were way older, guru was likely not born yet or just an youngling when the nameks left the demon realm. Neva is highly likely to be the OLDEST remaining namekian. It’s highly possible that he’s a super namekian in his youth tho.

Hiroshi Naka has voiced Garp in OP, Enma in Naruto, the South Kai in DBKai, as well as work as far back as the 80s, good voice actor, he could pull it off. Sometimes they cast characters based on hype voice actors rather than the story importance over there. Like Bojack is meh but his jp va is very well known, sometimes thats enough for them.

Loving the series so far but I wish there were some more intimidating demons. Dabura was threatening, he turned 2 of our beloved characters to stone and blasted Kabito like he was nothing, most of the demon leadership we see now are jokes. The 3rd world demon king was amazed at Gokus strength so he isn't strong and Gomah clearly isn't very strong. Unless Supreme Kais brother is waaay stronger than him who can be a threat to Goku?

The reason he's being kept alive is if he dies the Dragon balls go inert also the fact that there are three may signify his place meaning his ability. But I agree that he's going to be a big bad
