MRI machines are extremely costly pieces of equipment. They go anywhere from $150, 000 to $1million and over. I’m surprised it’s still there

I work on these. It did not turn on, the display above the bore is off and there is a glowing backlight to the bottons on both sides, they're off.

HOWEVER, the magnetic field inside the machine can be on/charged even in a power outtage! You cannot see nor hear it. Never assume it is safe. That door should have been closed and locked!
