are too many companies out there with unbelievably rich CEOs/upper-level management bodies that pay their workers too low of wages. We need to put all of these businesses on blast. Not just Starbucks!!!! Great discussion

The section midway through about “regular clientele” is so true. My brother worked at a fast food restaurant and when I worked there for a Summer, customers often asked for my brother by name. One time a woman came in the day my brother had off. When she found out he was not on shift she kindly said she would be back tomorrow when he was back on shift. This was not an isolated incident. This was the norm. Good restaurant customer service makes or breaks a place. Ironically, when my brother left that store, the store closed down in about 3 months of his departure. Not really ironic. He was key to its success.

Damn, imagine if this was the President of the United States?

It will likely take General Strikes across the country to make meaningful inroads into income disparity in America.
Additionally we are in desperate need of Campaign Finance Reform to get Dark Money out of politics and end the Special Interests powerful hold on elected officials. This may be the most important topic that people must address.

I will NEVER patronize another Starbucks until Union democracy is established. And I will encourage all my friends to do the same. Starbucks COULD be the vanguard for a new approach to employer/employee relationships rather than being the national emblem of exploitation.
