Which season 1 moment do you see differently now?

At the end up season one, Oh Il Nam tells the new frontman that it’s more fun playing the games then watching, could’ve been foreshadowing.

I like to think that due to it happening 3 years prior to rejoining the games, plus, the old guy admitting to Gi Hun that he wanted to experience the games himself, is more than enough reason for him to let the "001 frontman theory" slip by. Of course we can make the connection as a viewer ourselves, but I don't think it would be realistic for Gi Hun to out of the blue assume 001 is the frontman. Afterall, 3 years of grieving for the dead, and in the constant search of the isle, are not the best conditions to remember every single detail.

It makes his character more humane and relatable, because it's an honest and realistic mistake.

Another thing i noticed rewatching season one. When they leave the games and get picked back you, you dont see Oh Il-nam get gassed

I totally forgot the Front Man took a bullet to his right shoulder. I wonder if he was still feeling some pain when trying to do the spinning top game using his non-dominant hand.

Theres a part in season 1 when Gi-Hun is talking to Sang-Woo and told him there are games that girls are better than boys like Gonggi. Was interesting to see that played in the second season.

English dub makes it worse to watch. I’m Korean but moved to the U.S. when I was really young and I’m shocked that I’m able to read the English subtitles faster than Americans who only speak English…😂

It’s still hilarious to me that people were actually surprised about the fisherman being the mole. They made it extremely obvious since episode 1 😆

5:18 - "...it's kind of amazing the more viewers didn't catch on sooner..." Why? If it were obvious to the audience, it wouldn't have been such a BRILLIANT plot point. Kudos to the writers of Squid Game!

I think there’s a good chance Gi Hun knows 01 is a plant but is playing the long game as there’s not really another option.

I really don't see how Gi Hun can become the new Frontman, since the title implies that he would need to want to do it, otherwise he can just do nothing or purposefully sabotage the games, which is not what other higherups want.

In an interview Lee Jung Jae (Gi-Hun) he was asked if he will become the next front man, they had 2 buttons, x or o meaning yes or no, Lee Jung answered by pressing both buttons, so that may be foreshadowing, i just recommend looking it up cuz i didnt do a great job of explaining
