To counter the birth thing, some people like to do it naturally so they aren’t drugged up, also she could have been like me and had to be taken care of at the hospital immediately because of something wrong

Well, we don’t actually know if that was the first time Riley was ever held, because babies can’t use any of their senses properly so maybe that moment was just the first time Riley’s senses started working properly

Also it is rare but possible to have a different eye and hair colour even if both parents don’t have those colours

I learned about this in biology class. So, her parents have 2 different alleles in their genes. A dominant one and a recessive one. Reiley would only get the recessive allele if her father carries the recessive allele of blonde hair and blue eyes from his mother. So, she could have this because her grandmother probably had the two recessive alleles that gave her blonde hair and blue eyes. Meanwhile, Reiley’s dad’s father could’ve had the two dominant alleles of brown hair and brown eyes. So the brown allele (A) and the blonde/blue allele (b) would mix together to create AbAb in the father. Then, daughters always inherit more traits from her father, and it always skips a generation, so that’s why Reiley has blonde hair and blue eyes. Or I could be completely wrong.

Not to sure about this, both of the parents could be heterozygous of the brown hair and brown eye traits, and if you do a punnet square, there’s a possibility of the baby’s having both blonde and blue eyes.

Edit: Did you not pay attention in science? Parents with both brown hair and eyes could have a baby with blue eyes and blonde hair because of genetics.
