For Kind Information of All People Here. Jewellery never made in 24 carats. Only Biscuits and coins are made in 24 carats. In India mostly jewellery came in 18 carats and 22 carats. And 22 carats gold always come with hallmark printed on jewellery with logo and weight with proper certification. So always buy jewellery with proper information of gold and don't get scammed. Thanks

Big jewellers display 24K and 22K prices and its common understanding that ornaments will be 22K . I dont know where such scams are done.

Jewellery 22kt, 18kt infact 14kt m aati h or Jewellery ka price according to its purity fix hota h jaise suppose
24kt 60, 500
22kt 57, 500
18kt 47, 500
Or ye rate slab max har Jwellers k showroom m laga hota h

Let’s see pure gold rate is 60500 for 100 %
Then for 22 k - 92% hallmark
Price 55660 without labour and other charges
Now assuming a jewellery shop owner gets jewellery from manufacturers on 5 - 7 % depending upon type of design
Now add 92% + 6% ( labour) + 6% ( self margin ) + 3% gst
107% of 60500 = 64735
It would cost near 195000

5-7% extra charge krenge hi woh! Jo ki unke wastage mai ata h woh! So 20carat ka 22carat charge krenge aur 22carat ka 24carat ke rate se! But making charges dena na dena uspar aap argue krke hatwa saktey ho! But sirf wholesale jeweller se!

Local jewellery shop se gahena banaiye, must be hallmark (22/18 your choice) wala, nehi thakenge, bcs chote dokandar k pass, ek customer bohut precious hote hay.
Jitna bada sajdhaj, utna bada scam.
