Carter accidentally travels through Mars an attack by a million alien troops.

The story follows John Carter, a former American military officer traumatized by the Civil War. Unexpectedly, he is transported to Mars (known as “Barsoom” locally). The gravity on Mars gives him superhuman strength. On the planet, he becomes involved in the war between the local races, meets Tars Tarkas, leader of the Tharks, and Dejah Thoris, the beautiful princess.
As the story progresses, Carter gradually realizes that his arrival may be the key to ending the conflict on Mars and saving the planet. Not only does he have to face powerful enemies, but he also has to face his inner wounds and find his own mission.
The film combines stunning alien landscapes, intense battle scenes and a touching emotional line to tell an epic adventure story of courage, love and redemption.
