Learning that the Stainless steel needs that proper preheating is Huge Difference Maker.... and that using 2tbsp white vinegar and hot water removes the rainbow stains

Worked great. Leidenfrost is not always the way to go. Slow and low worked great for my eggs. Thanks for helping.

So helpful with how high to have heat. I always put it to the highest and it always burns! Thank you ❤

Know your stove heat setting for stainless steel nonstick temperature setting. I tested my stainless pans at the exact temperature setting where water beads up and then set the pan on the stove at that exact temperature setting every time. I let the pan heat up and add a bit of oil and or butter and it doesn’t allow food to stick. I also just use my dedicated T Fal nonstick pan for nonstick cooking of scrambled eggs and fish.

Cold food doesn’t reach room temperature. When it does, it’s no longer safe to eat.

Leaving it out for 30 minutes, warms it up maybe 5C.

As someone who just started living alone and got a stainless steel pan without thinking to much about it these tips just made my life a lot easier!

Now how do I crack an egg without getting eggshell bits mixed in?! 😭

When low temperature cooking do you still heat up the pan enough for the water beads to form? Or are you only heating up the pan for the 30 seconds you mentioned before adding the butter?

For maillard efect it needs to be 180 celcius but I tested on a steel pan that it doesn't need to be that high. I tested it your way and the meat cooked fantastic.

Never use seeds oil in your cooking! Ever! Use Ghee or tallow instead.

Does the same apply with cast iron? Thank you

Stop saying "add in" all the time. You just put the food in, since the pan will always be separate from the meal you're cooking. "Add in" only makes sense when you have multiple ingredients.
