I really like the way this trailer is so full of hope and uplifting and then you get to see the movie and it hits you like an airplane and makes you sob in tears every five minutes.

This is the trailer which successfully fooled most people into thinking that the film was about the French Revolution.

This is literally the only movie to ever provoke any kind of emotional reaction from me.

This is, in my opinion, one of the greatest movie musicals ever! It will rank up there, with the likes of The Wizard of Oz and Singing in the Rain. It's got a beautiful, powerful and touching story, superb musical score and an incredibly talented cast.

I just realized why I like Les Miserables so much. They somehow directed it to be the most beautiful movie where the plot is basically Superman's dad chasing around Wolverine and Catwoman. And they win a freaking Oscar for it. Priceless.

As someone has done this beautiful show before, this film showed everything it is and so much more. It showed both the larger scope and the intimacy of the struggles people in France endured during this time in a way that stage musicals will never be able to do. It also allowed for many overlooked moments in the show to get the time they deserve. People will sit through movies longer than they will stage shows, and this is an example of that. Such a gorgeous film that is worthy of being a classic for years to come.

The emotion of the actors feels so real and intense. It grabs you by the throat, touches you deep inside and doesn't let you go for the entire film. The raw character of the story is so beautifully portrayed. And every time Anne Hathaway sings 'I dreamed a dream', I get goosebumps on my arms and a lump in my throat.
The story of Les Miserables has of course been told thousands of times in numerous art forms. The fact that after all those previous stories they succeeded in making such a beautiful film, is really fantastic. Apart from that, they also had to assemble the complete movie of two and a half hours in a catchy trailer. And that has also worked out excellently!

Why were people so mean about Amanda Seyfried's singing voice. It's beautiful. Lightyears better than Emma Watson's voice in Beauty and the Beast.

the book was one of the best books i've ever read . i read it in french, and it is sad that it is not as touching in english as it is in french, for those who can read french i advise u to read it, it's maybe long but it is worth it

This movie is one of the best I've seen. Still, the stage versions are more appealing.

I remember watching this trailer before an IMAX screening of An Unexpected Journey. Turned out to be the best part of the evening.
