Always leave my phones just lying around. I quit dating in 2018 caus i live in S Asia and men in our region has no respect for women nor consider fidelity as a priority. So without complaining or getting hurt n being part of the drama. I just quit it all. Im v happy on my own, regret the the years n time i spent being hopeful about relationships. My ex wife bought my phone and whenever I left the room, went through it behind my back.
She was always looking for a reason to get mad at something....even when a workmate sent a photo of all my work crew at work....she went off her head.
No matter what, when a woman wants her story in her head to bed true, she'll interpret anything and everything to fit her narrative.
I got sick of it and spent more time at work than at home. It got to the point I didn't even want intimacy with her. Why? Because she looked for things and accused me of things that I am not and would never do. That is a form of betrayal in my eyes and what she did, and continues to do, is hurtful.
But life goes on even though she keeps running her mouth and has alienated my son from me and my family.

The one that I disagree with is the face down option... I hate seeing notifications pop up, and otherwise keep my phone on silent. I don't want my brain telling me to check when I'm with someone. It helps me stay present.

People this is not a red flag really.
I don’t allow others to touch my phone as well, that doesn’t mean I am cheating.
The phone contains sensitive and confidential information such as my bank account and cards, passwords etc..
You should protect your personal data. Not everyone should have access to it.
This is not a red flag, it’s a boundary.
