maybe i missed something but when solving for the first moment equation, why didn't u plug in (-40x-133.75) for v(x)?.. you put (-40+133.75)x

Nice explanation, but for the right side (x>8) of the beam isn't it better to start at the right side, so that Vx becomes positive and Mx negative. This is done so you can cancel the 206, 25 kN at point B for the Mx equation, the same for Vx.

What if in the left at 2m from pin point would be a downforce of 15KN, the momentum parabolic line would be asimetric, how could we draw it? Thank you!
