Spider-Man joined the Avengers before New Avengers. Ok, he was a reserve member, and only jumped in when one of the core team was occupied elsewhere, but he was officially announced as a member of the Avengers.

I really think we should see the MCEU continuity as being different from the comics continuity. They draw inspiration from each other, but in general they are just not the same. Seeing it like that makes watching the movies much more enjoyable and there would be no more fighting about them getting storyline details wrong.

Spider-Man actually joined the Avengers in the early 1990’s, but he never served as an active member until 2005. He was a reserve member out of the fact that he didn’t want to lower public approval and he preferred to be solo.

Abomination or Red Hulk=Hulk
Ragnarok or Ares=Thor
Bullseye=Hawkeye
U.S. Agent=Captain America
Silver Sable=Black Widow
