Thank you for reminding that every child is different. I am terrible at comparing my child to others and need to remind myself that every child learns differently and at different speeds!

I can't believe how much Mia is able to do in terms of practical life activities!! Even though I watch the weekly vlogs, seeing her help with laundry and dishes is amazing!

So beautiful to see you engage in your kids. I am from the year 1954 and my mother survived and we as 5 kids had hardly any toys and we had to amuse ourselves and if we did not then the message was: go run around the house and stop fussing. I was bored to death and found out later it was a form of neglect. So keep up the good parenting! You will bond so good now and in later years.

The little girl I nanny for is 14 months and I was just looking up activities to do with her, and I have to say I’m very encouraged because these are all things I’m already doing but didn’t have a label to it. It’s very helpful to know I’m on track developmentally! I taught 4-5 year olds so I’m used to doing activities for that age. My own baby girl is 22 weeks in the belly so I’m thankful for all the education I’m getting through my nanny family and learning about Montessori techniques! (They are all about it and have all the Lovevery toys so that’s a huge benefit too!)

Go Mia! You should be proud of the work you do with her and Kylie, I try my best but it's hard so I understand the effort that goes into it. I hope any parent who reads this takes a moment to be proud of themselves! As long as you're trying your best you're doing a good job!

Thank you SO much for the message about not comparing your child and every child being on their own developmental track. As a first time mom to a 13 month old, I have ended up doing this so many times and it only ends up making me feel like a failure and making me wonder what I’ve done wrong. But I’ve let that all go because all the milestones thus far that my son needed to hit, he has and in his own time. I’ve learned that personality plays such a big role and their interest in certain activities. Sometimes they just don’t care or want to do something and that’s why they haven’t yet. It’s just such an important message for moms and I appreciate you adding that to the end of your video!!👍

I’m going to need my daughter to pull more of her toddler weight around the house after watching this video lol. Just kidding, this was cute and helpful.

My son loves growing with Mia. He's a month to younger and I've always let him watch the bits of her playing. He mimicks some of the things she does that he hasn't done yet and feels good seeing her do things he can do too 😊

Your children are so adorable and smart. I thought Mia was deciding that the dark clothing should not go in with all the pinks.lol. You both are doing such a marvelous job with your family. So much love.

Oh gosh, good timing. Ma baby is walking faster and faster and I'm just waiting for her to take off and run! I was told that she walked quickly down the hallway looking for me and came all the way back. She hasn't done that before. 😄 I'm trying to figure out basket/container ideas. I love that you showed the various motor skills they'll likely be doing. Thank you!

These are my favorite videos from your Montessori series. It’s such a joy to watch little Mia grow and learn.

Wow this is eye opening. I didn’t know a 13 month old can do all these activities. I’m usually pulling my daughter (12.5 month old) out of the kitchen, bathroom, etc. never thought to let her “help”. Very interesting
