Astronomers have discovered what appear to be massive galaxies dating back to within 600 million years of the Big Bang, suggesting the early universe may have had a stellar fast track that produced big galaxies. (Feb. 22)

I hear tens of thousands of papers being balled up, I hear scientists throwing their hands up in exasperation.

The math is off, it is very very off.

What our math says we should see in the very early universe is obviously not what we just observed.

A great rethinking must be done to resolve this gaping inconsistency in our math and what we have observed. We must now deal with what is, and not what we wish it to be.

..almost like the universe was made in an instant then *stretched out*, compelling the foolish to assume that vast distances meant great time.

What if the universe didn't start at one point but many. Maybe everything hits a state of entropy and dark matter attracts all that dust, solidified planets, and stars. These areas of space condense all that matter and explode to form new stars, planets, and galaxies. We can't see it because it's spread out over such massive distances. Maybe this isn't the first version of the universe but one of many? Hmm.

am I the only one who noticed how poor this video was?

I'm picturing super massive as these gigantic galaxies millions of times larger than our own. Incredibly dense galaxies seem far less impressive lol

If the data does not agree with computer model output, the must be some biaseeez in the date. The data clearly needs to be "corrected".

This looks like something from a 1920 movie. What a shame anyone would think this is real. WOW !! Come on now.

Think about this, if the entire earth was made from carbon 14 it would completely disappear in less than a million years so doesn't that prove that the earth is less than a million years old???

They could be black holes. They could of been a black hole epoch that began the galaxy forming wash cycle vybes...They ain't confirmed as galaxies as of yet..if the universe was round they would be an area of new n old galaxies where the lines blur..like a dryer spinning..would mimic expansion like oceans on earth..if water was space we would see expansion acceleration in some areas where there's waves( gravitational waves). And less where not
