Love the recipe and am trying this. Sick of overspending at Starbucks. An important component is that ice though. What the restaurants have over us is that clear ice with their machines and it does affect the taste. Need to either make clear ice or get a machine at home.

If i wanted to make just a cup of coffee the good old fashioned way (by heating the water instead of using a coffee maker) can I just adjust the proportions and use half mug of water and half mug of ice?
