That is a wonderful pen and ink, and the Hobonichi Weeks is brilliant. I’m enjoying mine. Just be wary of that ink, because it is permanent; so if you get it on clothing etc it may be very difficult or even impossible to wash out. Also, Lamy uses proprietary cartridges, and I’m not sure if there is any brand of cartridges other than Lamy that will reliably fit the Safari. I’ve certainly never heard of Platinum cartridges fitting a Lamy pen. If it doesn’t fit well, it may work okay, but it’s likely the cartridge could dislodge itself at any time from the pen - which could create a huge messy leak, which would be particularly scary with a permanent ink like Carbon Black

Hi, I hoe both the pen and the exact same cartridges, but I can’t seem to get them into the lami safari pen. How did you manage to do so? Kind regards, Danielle

It's a year later, but can you tell me if this fits without an adapter?
