Ngl as a disaffected NASCAR fan who fell off not long after pating attention F1, Indycar, and endurance racing I was half expecting there to be a ton of "F1 is boring" jokes but I'm pleasantly surprised that there weren't any. Respect the hell out of that.

Also a minor correction: Connor Zilisch didn't win the 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring overall, he won it in LMP2. Which is still incredibly impressive, and you are 100% right about his world-beating potential.

The 2024 Monaco GP was the first race in F1 history where the top 10 qualified and finished in the exact same positions.

I was at the Arca Talladega race, watching it from victory lane in the infield, and I was just watching the jumbotron like: Is anybody going to actually do something?

I feel like eventually Nascar is going to flat out dissolve Arca into the Main Nascar pipeline: either as a 4th series or a possible replacement to the Truck Series if their life support finally fails.

Me personally, the worst race of the year was the Bathurst 1000. *8 fucking hours*, on shitty mobile data, in a restaurant, on my birthday, well into 2AM. And quite literally nothing happened. As in… not even spicy cautions, pit stop drama, lead changes… nothing.

OK, idk about the other series, but there is no way that in F1 the Singapore GP was worse than Monaco. Precisely, the lap one shenaningas you praised were the factor that killed the Monaco race, with more than 75 laps without any interest or a single overtake because everyone used the red flag to change their tires

Basically f1 and ARCA only, that Nashville race barely counts because, well, most of the race was solid.Although in this context it should definitely be on the list.

I have an honourable mention and that is the bathest 1000 for v8 super cars normally that race is the big one and has multiple things going on but this year there was basically nothing only one safety car and nothing else
