Wear your seat belt through the entire flight. Full stop. FAs have been telling you this for decades.

This just further proves how securely built an aircraft is. It can drop thousands of feet in seconds and still continue the flight and land safely.

Rumor has it that his last words were "So glad I'm not on one of those damn 737-MAXs".

I'm sorry for your loss. He looks like he was a sweet soul. That had to be a traumatic experience.

It's not the damn environment it's the rush to reach destination and speed through pockets at risk of turbulence

If you need a seatbelt sign to tell you what common sense should tell you then you are the type who will cry lawsuit when you hit your thumb with a hammer and blame the hammer.I only say this because the reporter mentioned the sign. It was a tragic accident. Period.

"the plane fell thousands of feet in just a few seconds", that would suggest it took a nose dive, alot of the reporting has been inaccurate, it was a gradual descent

You couldn't *just* tell the story. You had to push political propaganda while you were at it.
