All these comments about wanting just specific DIY content is a bit odd. This is a part of figuring out which setup will look best for your project. He is spending the time and effort to show you so you don’t buy the wrong thing and get an end result you wouldn’t be happy with.

Thanks for doing what you do Chris. It is greatly appreciated. God bless!

I love your videos, I’m 59 years old and after watching several of your videos, I know I’m also capable of doing some great things with LEDs. My next project is ikea shelves with led lights on top to show off the glassware. Thanks and have a blessed day.

Another great vid Chris. One thing I'll mention is that the light intensity effects the diffusion as well, so it matters if you're testing max brightness vs. real-world applications (for those who have space constraints)

Chris, you are the primo source for info on LEDs!

Nice, thank you.
I actually used black aluminum corner profiles (with black diffusers) and a COB RGBA strip and put that all around the edges of my gaming table. When off they're stealthy, just blending in with the table itself. And when turned on it's like the entire edge glows. Those COB strips are trivial to diffuse, since they almost don't need them (especially on a higher brightness level/also consider there are different levels of density on those COB strips as well).

I’m literally using the COB LEDs and diffuser channels at my setup lol. What a coincidence. Great vid as always

the first video I watched in a long time that blew me away. 😮 I never knew this existed and your content is great without all the fluff no time wasted here. I subscribed

Since i have started watching your videos, i want to do Led projects as a side hustle. Your projects encouraged me to install Led all over my room and i am so satisfied.
Thanks for producing such amazing content. You are a blessing.

Have you any recommendations how to get started?

I have used these strip lights in all my projects. I was thinking of trying this as well. I could not afford to buy them and test them myself so ty. I used 2 1 meter strips in the spotless corner diffuser. Those cost more. To make sure it worked out. It does they are a little wide for 2 strips but work well and very bright. I was just sure to line the segments up well so it looks like 1. The ones you testested here will save alot of my cost when using them over spotless. Ty again.

So first and foremost- I'm more excited than you know that you're posting videos using COB Lights!!! Govee is coming out with their own COB Light! PLEASE order it as soon as you can so you can be one of the first to post about it!!! You usually always do such a great job keeping up to date. As I always say, you continue to inspire me with every video and with that I'm honestly grateful for your content. I mean it bro!!!! Have a great day Chris 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Still waiting for Govee to jump on those Cob rgbic strips with reasonable lengths.
The great thing about cobs is that you can use really low profile diffusers that don't stick out like a sore thumb from the wall. And corner diffusers can be lower profiled too.

From my own research, I figured out that you need 60+ leds/m for a 16mm high profile. For corner diffusers, you either need big ones that have enough clearance or need more than 120leds/m for smaller diffusers.

I was thinking of buying these aluminum profiles one day, so this video was just what I needed. 10/10

First of all, it looks awesome Chris, you always take your set up to the next level, I did a project with some shelves using that corner profile with 144 leds per meter ws2812b but I'm still getting the hot spots, so now I know how to fix it, once again thanks for the inspiration

perfect! I was wondering which diffusers I could get away with with these LEDs. I was about to do a pretty big project and this will save me money!

Fantastic review! I love these types of videos. Do you have any recommendations for those COB leds (addressable) that also include cool white/warm white?

Nice video Chris as always! I was wondering how you managed to get your colors to fit so perfectly with the displayed pictures during the demo at the end? Is it by trial and error or you have some special tool to help?

What type of LEDs are these in the video? The ones that are moving/paining around. Very cool

Hey Chris, Enjoying your vids, watched almost all of them.
On this project did you just use one ESP 32 Conttoller ?
I'm about to do a LED multi-strip horizontal display and was going to use an ESP 32 per strip.
The way you have done works well for me, I'm just not sure how you got it all done (+- 15 meters) all with on ESP #@ and those great unsync'd and sync'd effects.
