You made swapping monitors super easy, barely an inconvenience

One issue i’ve seen with using two monitor arms with a couple pretty heavy monitors, is that it really puts a lot of weight on the backside of the desk. it makes it a little more wobbly than it should be

Your take on monitor arm is spot on. I actually like the look of rectangular monitor stand on the desk but having monitor arm just makes your work so much easier with lot of flexibility.

I've recently got a monitor stand similar to yours and it's much better indeed. So much free space under the monitor, the cool look of it floating and cable management is also much better. I routed my mouse and keyboard through it as well. It's great.
