I am Tom Saguto, PGA Member and founder of SagutoGolf. Thank you for visiting my instructional page where you can find how to get on the fast track to improving your golfing abilities. Whether you are a seasoned golfing veteran looking for a quick swing tune-up after an on-course emergency, or a beginner just looking to get the most out of your golfing experience, I am here to help you achieve your golfing goals.

My mission as your swing doctor is simple, to help you maximize your enjoyment in game of golf. Because, let’s face it, golf is a hard game.

My philosophy is wholly based on the student having a fun, meaningful experience in a frustrating and complicated game where potential lifelong golfers either quit because it is too difficult or that they experience some form of swing-related pain or discomfort. I mitigate these problems by focusing entirely on the student’s needs and goals while teaching a golf swing method that ultimately takes stress off of the common pain areas of the swing.

I love this guy. A little unconventional 😁. At 55 years old I shot my best 9 holes last week following his tips. I shot two under👍🏻.

A dad on his 10 year olds account.... I just have to say this wedge instruction changed my golf life! I always struggled with wedges, now I'm deadly accurate! No more wrist hinge and finish with club face up. Bing bang Thank you!

Folks, I'm a senior golfer with finger joint pain. This quiet wedge swing saved my golf life! It also works amazingly well with my 7 iron and high lofted woods (5 w, 7 w, 9w & 11w) off the fairway and the tee! Thanks Tom!

Hey Tom, thanks for the video. It's probably cliche but your videos have helped me immensely. Started watching a couple weeks ago and when I was out playing with mates this past weekend, I got several compliments on my significant improvement. You're the man, Tom.

Gonna keep coming back to this video when I’m pitching or chipping from distance I seem to go left so I must be flipping like I said in the other video I’ve taken 20 shots of my score and I know I can take a hell of a lot more just need to get my pitches and putts right. I can’t afford to sign up to saguto golf but with these videos on YouTube I bet the people that sign up end up insane! Honestly thank you mr saguto you will go down in the book of golf legends! We need to see more course vlogs when you have the time!

Thanks again, Tom, for another piece of advice that works. I would recommend that others try it. I have been working on pitch shots with my 56 degree sand wedge and 60 degree loft wedge. Following instructions from both the pro I go to at my range as well as a short game expert who was featured on videos produced by a well known master fitter in Canada, I have addressed the ball with the shaft straight up in line with my sternum, tilted slightly forward with weight on the left foot, and struck the grass or ground about two inches behind the ball. This allows the bounce to glide the club under the ball, producing a nice high, soft trajectory. It even works on a range mat. The idea was to avoid what many do, which is to lean the shaft forward and attempt to hit down on the ball first. This requires precision and also reduces the loft, defeats the bounce, and can cause the leading edge of the club to dig. The short game wizard also recommended finding what yardage you get with each wedge from two backswing positions, one with the shaft just parallel to the ground, and the other with your left arm parallel to the ground, as well as your distance with a full swing. So today at the range I worked on your advice to keep the hands quiet. It worked. My yardage with the shaft just parallel to the ground is basically 35 yards with the lob wedge and 55 with the sand wedge. Of course, it may vary depending on how long, thick and lush the rough is versus a tight lie. Bottom line, using your quiet hands technique I found it was both easy to hit these shots and the results produced were extremely consistent. And your advice to keep the face pointed toward the target, not releasing the right hand over the left and closing the face, was also super important.

Best Golf Instructor for a minimalistic, uncomplicated Swing .
By putting almost all my weight on the left leg, you immediately sorted my swaying.
You improved my swing concept dramatically, the 70 + old body is creating distance and I constantly breaking 100 now.
Since we relocated from Guernsey to Brisbane Oz, I started playing again 6 M ago, after a 5 year break ( Weather was to bad in Channel Islands for golf.)

This is legit. Since starting S&T using Tom's free videos I have gone from a 10.3 to a 6.8 index in two months. Before this, my goal was to break 85, now it is break 80. Shot a 78 yesterday and a 76 today and I suck at putting. 31 putts today, and 5 birdies. Your putting gets better when you stick the wedges inside 8 feet most of the time. Shot 41 on the front due to Benedryl hangover. I have severe allergies to grass and some trees. Once the brain fog cleared, I shot 35 on the back, par is 36/36. My problem today was forgetting to pin the upper arms to the chest on some short iron shots. Again this stuff works and Tom knows how to get it across to you. And there is no way I'm letting my pigeon$ know about Mr. Tom Saguto. Sorry, Tom.

I'm 50 and you keep reminding about all the things I've known in the past to work and simplify the golf swing but forgot due to a golfless life for the past 20 years. Ok, maybe not EVERYTHING! I've turned all the golfers I know on to your channel. Thank you sir!
