This instructor is the best of the bunch. I'd pay for lessons from him. At the 5:20 mark, "making sure the shoulder feels as if it stays behind your back foot." That, to me, is the "magic move". This is where most people screw up and they cast the club. I highly recommend this video to anyone struggling with their swing.

This is one of the best descriptions of how to hit a draw I have ever watched! The keeping the back shoulder over the back foot through impact is a very understandable piece I think I've been missing!

Can we get more videos from this guy (Michael?). He explains things in a relatable way that makes sense.

I think this is the best video about the golf swing I've ever watched. I've been working on fixing my over the top swing. Its improved, but that tip about keeping your shoulder back, is so simple. I hit balls today. I couldn't believe what a difference it made. The straightness and ball height were noticeably improved. Always a work in progress, but I believe this will get me on the right path . What an excellent instructor.

By FAR the best explanation of how to hit a draw I have ever seen. Not over simplified yet thorough and concise. Very well done Michael. Thanks for sharing your expertise.

Great clear presentation! "Top Speed Golf" is the best and is allowing me to refine the steps to resolve my struggles and diminish frustrations. We'll never perfect this game, that is one of the reasons we love it.

This is by far the best true draw swing video. Not only you explained it clearly but also you talked as if you was the learner. You hit the nail there a few times on how I actually experienced it as I went through the swing change process and practice.

Can’t wait to try this. Lately no matter how much I try to swing in to out I just end up coming over the top even more somehow. Nothing but pulls and slices, can’t hit it to the right no matter how hard I try haha. I think keeping the right shoulder back is the trick that I’m missing, should be a great feel move for me. Thanks!

Mike, you're my favorite Top Speed instructor because you don't mince words or try to oversell concepts or products. As usual this is an excellent explanation of how to hit a true draw. That said, could you do a video that includes a demonstration (perhaps with a camera angle directly above the club at set-up, overhead view) for this statement regarding draws, "the clubface must be open to the target line but closed to the club path"? I understand the concept entirely but I have a feeling that these adjustments are very subtle, very slight. Is that correct? I mean it can't be more than a degree or two. Any more than very slight and I end up hitting unpredictable draws/hooks. Anyway, could you please demonstrate the subtleties of what is meant by a face open to the target line (to get the ball started to the right) and closed to the club path (which you demonstrated beautifully in the video)? Thanks man, appreciate it! Or you can email me directly, I'm a TSG member.

Great video and I have been using these tips with some success so far. Not really able to draw my irons yet but these tips are definitely helping me hit my irons very straight. Only negative is I seem to be hitting a lot of iron shots fat? Not sure if this is due to casting the club or flipping at impact. Any tips to stop the fat shots would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks for the video. You're very good at explaining the technical details 👍

Cool video. I can hit true draws by following-through right of the target line as described. However, I find it encourages early-extension as you momentum is pulling forward.

Very well explained. Ive always naturally hit a draw, and when it starts to slice, these are really great things to keep in mind. Top notch video bro. Cheers from Niagara 🇨🇦✌️
