I wanted to see if my baby pheasant liked corn?

I brought a cob of corn to this little pheasant to see what she sould think about it. When I first put it in her face she had no clue what to do, granted she is only a couple months old and has never seen or tried corn before, so this was all very new to her. She had no interest in it whatsoever and did not care about it. So I put it in her food dish to see if maybe she would eat it, I gave the older chickens the other half of the cob and they absolutely destroyed it.

I had chicks, I bought them from a pet shop when they were babies. They were only eating what you put in front of them as food, so they were completely free in the garden. When the weather was sunny, they would crawl into the cucumber leaves, but they did not eat the cucumbers.

You need to have her mom introduce new food to her, otherwise it will not know it's food.

My neighbour grew 6 corn plants (coz i only gave him 6 magic seeds). He didn't harvest a single cob because he enjoyed watching green ringneck parrots eating them so much.

I asked Siri if pheasants like corn. They like mostly grains, seeds, roots and berries. 🤷🏻‍♀️ She will like insects 🕷️ and snails 🐌 as well.
