this is all done for the sake of being attractive but what they fail to see is that being obsessed with looks is THE most unattractive trait a person could have. Straight up repelllent for others.

in essence, this generation’s body dysmorphia is completely out of control and there’s little to no hope when you also factor in how ageist, beauty-obsessed, and devoid of empathy, compassion, and logic they are.

When I see movies with “regular” actors I cannot stop thinking how refreshing it is to see people with regular faces, regular flaws and they are so pretty. All of them. Cause they are unique and human and interesting to look ag

There's also this trend of "mogged" and its where a "slightly more" attractive person is next too someone who is "less attractive" and people just make fun of the less attractive person and I find it so weird and shallow. There's even peoole who will over analyse 2 celebrities faces and compare which one is "better looking" that's so weird💀

We really need to normalize and popularize normal and average looking people.

How bout personality maxing? Idc how attractive someone is, a bad personality can ruin it.

This is literal incel terminology. It's really scary how mainstream its become.

I think I'm seriously going to be keeping my kids off the internet.

i feel like paying attention to basic hygiene and dressing yourself decently would already make you look 20x better

edit: get a load of the guys in the comments who seem to think they know what EVERY WOMAN IN THE WORLD wants, like we all have just one ideal type

We need to talk about how a lot of these beauty standards only look great ONLINE! The wacky curvy bodies, the insanely sharp jawlines, the botox'd, plump'd, suck'd cheeks, duck lips - they all look CRAZY in real life, great on camera. 🦆

The most beautiful thing in the world in a person is HYGIENE and EMPATHY. Being the person who someone could say “they have the most beautiful heart”

I don't understand what's the obsession with the gigachad aesthetics. I'm a man and I have soft features, which I've always loved. I have a rounded jawline and wouldn't want it to be square, I have "feminine" traits like high brows, long lashes, somewhat large eyes, and I like it that way, I feel it makes me look unique.
Tiktok is literally contributing to the erasure of diversity, everyone has to look the same and share the same features to be considered beautiful.
Personally, I don't think every trend suits everyone, and beauty in the end is about making your best features stand out.

That's so sick! Turning people into narcissist who value themselves and others by looks alone. I don't hate attractive people, I just can't stand narcissists. It's not all about you.

I remember unironically browsing 4chan for a few years after high school and interacting with the incel rhetoric daily, this was way before it was brought into the mainstream. After around a year of it I realized how it was negatively affecting me mentally and made the conscious choice to leave and find another board to browse. 10ish years later and now that crap is everywhere and is being force fed to kids the same age and even younger than I was when I stumbled upon it. It's wild and sad to see.
